Award Purpose
Asia Triathlon is committed to building a sport that truly belongs to everyone. This award amplifies the voices and achievements of women at every level of our community.
Celebrate women making a measurable difference in triathlon across Asia.
Motivate the next generation of female athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators.
Champion gender equity, diversity, and inclusive practices within National Federations.
Prioritise discovery of nominees from regions where women's opportunities remain limited.
Selection Criteria
All nominations are assessed by the Asia Triathlon Selection Committee against five weighted criteria.
Creating a supportive environment and protecting women's rights in sport.
Guidance and educational opportunities sharing knowledge across generations.
Active involvement in local triathlon communities and events.
New ideas and activities with positive societal influence on the sport.
Accessibility for diverse backgrounds with a 'no one left behind' mindset.
Required Materials
Each nomination package must include all of the following. Incomplete submissions will be disqualified.
Full name, nationality, current role, and contact information.
Maximum 500 words describing contributions aligned with the five criteria.
Photographs, media articles, or letters of support.
OptionalSigned letter from an authorised NF representative or Asia Triathlon EB member.
Nomination Process
Asia Triathlon sends an Official Nomination Request Letter to all affiliated National Federations via the Secretariat.
Nominators submit the Digital Nomination Form with all required information. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Up to 2 nominations per NF.
Each nomination must include a signed Endorsement Letter from an authorised NF representative or an Asia Triathlon Executive Board member.
Submit to womensaward@asiatriathlon.org by the deadline. Confirmation sent within 5 business days.
The Committee assesses all eligible nominations. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for further information.
Award recipient announced on International Women's Day, 8 March 2026 via Asia Triathlon's official channels.
